Bee Keeping comes to the Greeniversity
I was lucky enough to attend an excellent free Greeniversity bee keeping course last week which was held at the Eco Innovation Centre, Peterborough. Expertly delivered by Greeniversity teacher Mo Vaughan, a bee keeper with over a decades experience, the course informed to a high level and entertained all the expectant students in attendence.

Mo's slide show was delightful, little cartoon bee's with animated wings, which he used to illustrate the bees life cycle worked brilliantly to help bring the class to life. Mo taught us how to look after bees throughout the seasons and all about the equipment we would need to become bee keepers.

Mo loves his bees despite his cautionary tale about how he was once stung over 200 times because he forgot his wellies!

This was a really popular course and we plan to  run another in the summer so keep an eye on www.greeniversity.org.uk to find out more.
