The Green Festival is an annual event and has been organised by Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT) since we were first founded in 1993.
The Green Festival celebrates our local and global environment in a two week environmental extravaganza across Peterborough.
Local people enjoy a host of green events and activities, learning about the environment and how to live more sustainably.
Over 40 local environmental organisations help make the Festival possible every year.
“The Green Festival is all about getting people talking about the environment and how important it is. It’s about helping people take steps towards living in a more sustainable way and getting them involved in the city’s ambition to create the UK’s Environment Capital.” Rachel Huxley, Operations Manager, Peterborough Environment City Trust.
