Green Day 2009...
Wednesday 18th November

Peterborough’s Green Day celebrates the city’s growing reputation as the UK’s Environment Capital. It marks the day when local leaders launched the green aspiration in November last year.

Following the success of Green Day 2008, this year we are encouraging local businesses and local people to get involved.

Show your support for Peterborough's eco ambitions...

We want as many people as possible to wear an item of green clothing on Wednesday 18th November (it doesn't have to be a whole outfit, a green shirt, or tie, or pair of shoes will do).

Plus, we have a little challenge for you to do your bit on the day!

If you're a business we're asking you to 'Cut out a Kilo' of CO2 in 24 hours...

If you're a local we're asking you to help keep our city litter free and 'Pick it up for Peterborough'.

Check out the discounts and offers on green products and services for people taking part...
