DESCRIPTION:Guided walk with expert Pat Doody to Portholme Meadow\, a Special Area of Conservation\, believed to be the largest flood-plain meadow in England. \nIts good-sized population of Snake’s Head fritillaries will be showing well for this evening walk. \nPat will also point out other spring meadow wildflowers and wildlife as well as covering the history of the meadow. \nMeet at Godmanchester Lock. \nClosest parking is in Godmanchester then walk via the Chinese Bridge.
