DESCRIPTION:Guided walk led by Sarah Lambert and Peter Kirby around Lattersey Nature Reserve. \nLattersey NR is a brownfield site which has developed a mosaic of open water\, reed beds\, damp grassland and willow carr. \nA wide variety of fenland species are present and a stop for pond dipping will reveal many aquatic species that are normally overlooked. \nThere are moderately steep slopes and steps. \nThe paths can be slippery when wet. \nPlease wear stout shoes  or boots. \nMeet in the NR car park at 301 New Road\, Whittlesey\, Peterborough PE7 1SZ – Grid Ref. NGR TL 282 966. \nWalks are £2 – children free. \nThis is a Wildlife Trust BCN – Towcester Local Group event. \n
