DESCRIPTION:It’s a good time of year for dragonflies and wild flowers at the Dogsthorpe Star Pit NR. \nThere may also be an opportunity to visit ponds on the reserve floor\, which support rare stoneworts. \nA two hour guided walk round this important brownfield reserve with the warden\, taking in areas of grassland\, scrub and wetland. \nThe paths are mainly formed from brick chippings and undulate with some moderately steep slopes. \nPlease wear stout shoes or boots. \nPark in Hodney Road – Map Ref.
