SUMMARY:Lunchtime Concert: The Stringlers
DESCRIPTION:In the first of a new season of Events at St John’s Tuesdays Till Two concerts for the summer holiday period we welcome Peterborough’s The Stringlers for their first concert in St John’s. \nPlaying an eclectic mix of classical music and pop\, rock and jazz covers\, this all female string quartet gives classical makeovers to everything from jazz and new wave to soul and disco! \nAs usual the café will be open from noon\, serving a range of hot drinks and homemade quiche\, cakes\, scones etc. \nAll profits from the café will go to The Green Backyard. \nThe concert will begin promptly at 1pm. \nAdmission is FREE\, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation (suggested amount is £5). \nThe Stringlers are Di Llewelyn\, Helen Britton\, Kat Moore & Emily Smith. \nWe’re grateful to Vivacity for providing additional funding to enable this concert to take place. \nTuesday 24th July 2018 1pm – 2pm. \nSt John the Baptist Church\, Church St\,  Peterborough\, Cambs.
