DESCRIPTION:Mindfulness is recognised as an effective way to handle the pressures of life and work – and to get more out of life’s moments. \nCome along to the Lakeside Centre in the beautiful and relaxed setting of Nene Park to learn more and get some practical experience of techniques you can use in everyday life to handle situations with more calmness and focus. \nWe will explain what “mindfulness” means\, the evidence for its benefits\, and how it can be helpful in everyday life. \nOur event will include a mindful walk in the Park\, and a number of short practices including some you can take away to use at home. \nWe will also provide details about where to get more information\, and about our evidence-based mindfulness courses. \nThe event will be run by Jennifer Cramb and Andrea Woods.
