DESCRIPTION:Wildlife Watch – West Kesteven \nJoin our West Kesteven Wildlife Watch group for a fungus foray in Twyford Woods! \n\nWildlife Watch is great for kids from around 6 to 14 years who want to find out more about wildlife and the natural environment. \nThis month\, join our West Kesteven group for a fungus foray in Twyford Woods near Colsterworth (SK 947 239). \nTwyford Woods is by an old RAF airfield\, however this has a large number of mushrooms and toadstools. \nCome help us count them! Last year there was a large drop in the number of mushrooms recorded (only 26) however we did find five new species in the wood. \nWhat will you discover? \nCost: £ 1 per child \nBooking essential.
