SUMMARY:Build your own Nest Box - Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre (Rushden)
DESCRIPTION:Build a wooden nest box to take home and learn all about nests as part of National Nest Box Week. \nProviding nesting sites is a great way to encourage the birds in your local patch. \nCome along to this event and build your own wooden nest box to put up in your garden.  You will also be able to have a look at real bird’s nests and find out more about these amazing structures! \nSessions will run at 10am\, 11am\, 12pm\, 2pm and 3pm and places are limited (six places per session). \nBooking is recommended to guarantee your space. \nContact 01933 779587 or at nenewetlands@wildlifebcn.org to book your place(s) and session times – six places per session. \nWhilst booking is advised\, it may also be possible to turn up on the day for this activity if there are still spaces available. \nHowever\, we recommend calling the Visitor Centre on 01933 779587 to check availability before you start your journey to avoid disappointment. \nThis activity involves the use of hand tools and\, as such\, is most suitable for ages 5+. \nChildren must be supervised by a responsible adult during this activity. \n\nCost: £10 per box. \n\n\nSunday 17th February 2019 10am – 3pm\n\n\n Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre\, The Boardwalk\, Rushden Lakes \, Rushden\, Northamptonshire\, NN10 6FA\n\nA Wildlife Trust BCN/ Nene Wetlands event.
