SUMMARY:Nene Wetlands Optics Day with Opticron (Nene Wetlands)
DESCRIPTION:Come along to ‘try and buy’. \nA wide range of Opticron binoculars\, telescopes\, monoculars and assorted accessories will be available to test with great views across the waters of the Rushden Lakes nature reserve. \nThe best way to choose which binocular or scope is most suitable is to test under proper field conditions and with Opticron staff available on the day you will also get expert advice on what to consider before making your purchase. \nOpticron’s range of products includes compact binoculars priced from £29\, full size binoculars (including the Wildlife Trust branded Oregon 4 PC range) and the best-selling MM3 and MM4 travelscope families. \nAs well as instruments for long distance observation of birds and animals\, there are plenty of products for those that want to study\, for example\, insects such as dragonflies and bees. \nOpticron’s binocular range includes models with close focus distances of as little as 1.5 metres. It also has an extensive range of magnifiers which are useful for low vision enhancement or the macro study of anything from stamps to grass seed variants! \nIf there is a specific Opticron product that you want to test\, please make sure to contact the Visitor Centre at Rushden Lakes (01933 779587) in advance in order that they can arrange for it to be available on the day. \nContact 01933 779587 or email nenewetlands@wildlifebcn.org for further information\, accessibility advice or directions. \nSaturday 2 March 2019 10am- 4pm \nNene Wetlands Visitor Centre\, The Boardwalk\, Rushden Lakes \, Rushden\, Northamptonshire\, NN10 6FA \n\nA Wildlife Trust BCN/Nene Wetlands event.
