DESCRIPTION:Saturday 20 July 2019 10am – 3.30pm  \nJoin the South Lincs Flora Group as we explore the diverse world of brambles with BSBI recorder\, Alex Prendergast. \nWith over 300 micro species\, the brambles can be a tricky group to get to grips with. \nWe’ll be taking a look at some of the more common bramble species with BSBI recorder\, Alex Prendergast\, with an informal identification session at Bourne Woods. \nWe will also be making the very first DNA collection for this group of plants for the Natural History Museum’s microbiology unit\, as well as gathering herbarium specimens for #LoveLincsPlants. \nCome along and add your name to the contemporary collection! \nFREE event. \nOpen to all. \nNo booking required.
