SUMMARY:A Whale of a Time!
DESCRIPTION:You can make a big splash at PE1 this Recycle Week! \nJoin Peterborough One Retail Park for a FREE event* on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September and meet a 50ft sperm whale\, after which you can embark on an aquatic adventure with tales of sea creatures and their battle to survive in an ocean full of rubbish. \nYou’ll also be treated to some show-stopping performances from the Aquabatics with their series of aquabatic contortions as they cruise the currents. \nPECT will also be at PE1 to promote Project Refill. The campaign aims to reduce plastic waste and single-use plastic bottles by encouraging local venues\, businesses and establishments to sign up to the scheme and offers passers by the chance to refill reusable water bottles with free tap water. \nYou can download the Project Refill app onto your phone to locate Refill venues\, of which there are now over 5\,000 in the UK. Businesses that are taking part are proudly displaying their Refill stickers to show their support for the campaign. \nPECT will also be giving away free crab apple trees to visitors. (Supplied as small whips\, available in limited numbers). \n*Donations welcome\, with all proceeds going to PECT.
