SUMMARY:Lunchtime Jazz: Latino Sound - St John's (PE1 1XB)
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 22nd October 2019 1pm – 1.45pm \nThis week it’s all change at “Tuesdays Till Two” as we switch from classical to jazz\, and who better to start the ball rolling than Latino Sound\, who were the final performers in our first season of jazz café concerts last year. \nLatino Sound have been playing all things Latin since 2008\, their music ranges from Bossa Nova to Carlos Santana\, an exciting mix of Latin-style jazz\, fusion\, funk and party music. \nAs usual the café will be open from noon\, serving a range of hot drinks and home-made quiche\, cakes\, scones etc. For this concert we’d like the audience to sit in the café area rather than moving to the pews at the front of the church. Some of you may even want to get up and shake a leg! \nThe music will begin promptly at 1pm. \nAdmission is free\, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation. The suggested amount is £5. \nSt John’s will be open all day between 10am and 4pm as our annual Cards For Good Causes stall is open from 16th October until 14th December. \nAbout Latino Sound: \nMoises Sanchez from Bolivia and Florin Marcos from Romania have been performing together since 2010 in Latino Sound. \nTheir varied musical influences include: George Benson\, Al Di Meola\, Acoustic Alchemy\, Carlos Santana\, and more. \nMusic styles are: Bossa Nova\, Flamenco\, Latin Jazz\, World Music. \nTuesday 22nd October 2019 1pm – 1.45pm \nSt John’s\, Church Street\, Cathedral Square\, Peterborough PE1 1XB \nAn Events at St John’s event. \n
