DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 5th November 2019 1pm -1.45pm \nTala Tarang – Mendi Singh (Tabla) and Eleanor Turner (Harp) \nOur jazz café season picks up where it left off last week with a second appearance by harpist Eleanor Turner. \nThis time she’ll be appearing with tabla player Mendi Singh\, who together form “Tala Tarang“. \nMendi is one of the UK’s most celebrated tabla players. He has toured with Peter Gabriel\, and Take That\, and performed with numerous other musical luminaries. \nAs ever St John’s will be open for an hour before the concert begins\, with volunteers from the pop-up café team offering lots of home made sweet and savoury treats as well as hot and cold drinks. \nAll profits from the café will go towards funding our future programme of events. \nThe concert will start promptly at 1pm. \nAdmission is free\, but we do ask those who can afford it to make a donation to help cover our costs. \nThe suggested donation is £5. \nTuesday 5th November 2019 1pm -1.45pm \nSt John’s Church\, Church Street\, Cathedral Square\, Peterborough PE1 1XB \nAn Events at St John’s event.
