DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 12th November 2019 1pm – 1.45pm\nLunchtime Jazz: Hicks and Goulbourn  \nOur Jazz Café Season continues with two performers who are best known on the folk/acoustic night scene\, but whose repertoire and reputation stretch far beyond that\, both of whom are making their St John’s debut. \nFingerstyle guitar virtuoso Steve Hicks and singer songwriter Lynn Goulbourn met at a gig in 2007. \nWith a mutual love of folk\, jazz\, roots and acoustic genres\, their musical partnership has flourished and taken them to all corners of the UK\, to Germany\, France\, The Netherlands and the USA. \nAs ever St John’s will be open for an hour before the concert begins\, with volunteers from the pop-up café team offering lots of home made sweet and savoury treats as well as hot and cold drinks. \nAll profits from the café will go towards funding our future programme of events. \nThe music will start promptly at 1pm. \nAdmission is free\, but we do ask those who can afford it to make a donation to help cover our costs.
