DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 11th March 2020 7.30pm – 9.30pm\n\nFrom Teesdale to Inis Mor\n\nAn illustrated talk on the development of coastal conservation interwoven with consideration of the influence of the last Ice Age on the British flora with reference to some of the most important sites culminating in Spring Gentian on Inis Mór.\n\nCoastal ecologist Dr Pat Doody began his career in nature conservation on Upper Teesdale NNR where he studied several arctic alpine species including Gentiana Verna.
