SUMMARY:Autumn Explorers - Family Fun at the Great Fen - Ramsey Heights (PE262RS)
DESCRIPTION:Autumn Explorers – Family Fun at the Great Fen\nTuesday 27th October 2020 – Wednesday 28th October 2020 10.30am-12pm and 1-2.30pm \nDiscover the miniature world thriving this season at Ramsey Heights nature reserve. \nA fun family event with outdoor activities and crafts. \nIt’s the holidays so come back and join in the fun at the Great Fen! \nEnjoy our favourite activities of mini-beast hunting\, pond dipping and den building. \nCome on a scavenger hunt\, make a beautiful foil rubbing artwork and create your own special owl to take home. \nMost importantly\, have fun! \nSessions will run in the morning and afternoon on Tuesday 27th and Wednesday 28 October. \nPre-booking a time slot is essential. \nYour safety is our priority\, so all appropriate social distancing and hygiene measures will be implemented. \nHow your session will run: \nPlease arrive 10 minutes prior to your session. \nA maximum of two households/bubbles can book on to one time slot. We will meet you at the main car park gate to let your vehicle in. \nEach group will be led by a different Great Fen team member and your activities will swap over halfway though the allotted time so groups are kept separated. You will be loaned your own pack of equipment to use throughout your visit and these should be returned for cleaning when you leave. Your child’s activity packs will of course be theirs to keep. \nToilets will be accessible for event attendees. \nAll activities will take place outdoors so please wear weather-appropriate clothing\, including long trousers and sensible shoes with closed toes. Insect repellent is useful and do bring raincoats. Please also remember to bring your own picnic blanket\, as this will be very useful for your family to sit on. \nPocket-money toys will be on sale. Unfortunately no change can be given for cash sales but we can also take contactless card payments. \nBooking online: \nhttps://www.wildlifebcn.org/events/2020-10-27-autumn-explorers-family-fun-great-fen \n\nPrice \nFamily Ticket (up to 2 Adults and 2 Children): members £10\, non-members £12. Additional Children: members £5 each\, non-members £6 each. \n\n\n\nAdditional booking information \n2 Families/bubbles per slot \n\nPlease book a ticket for everyone who is attending\, as those without a ticket will not be admitted.\n\nThere are five ticket options.\nThe minimum sale is for a Family Ticket (Wildlife Trust BCN member or non-member) suitable for up to two adults and two children.\nFor any additional children attending please select the relevant number of Child Tickets (Wildlife Trust BCN member or non-member). For any additional adult guests please select a free Adult Ticket.\nIn order to comply with Government guidance on meeting people from outside your household\, please remember that your Great Fen leader will also constitute one household. Therefore\, as per current gathering guidelines\, if your family/bubble is actually less than 5 people\, you may invite another family to join you as long as the total number of people in your group\, including the Great Fen leader\, is no more than 6. You must maintain social distancing between yourselves at all times. A single family/bubble does not have the same size restriction as we will still only be two households gathering. We hope this makes sense\, but please contact us to clarify if you’re still unsure. \nCOVID-19 guidance:  \nFOR THE SAFETY OF EVERYONE INVOLVED YOU MUST NOT ATTEND this event on the day if: \n\nyou or anyone in your household has symptoms of coronavirus – a high temperature\, a new continuous cough or change to your sense of smell or taste\, a sore throat\, headache or diarrhea\nyou have coronavirus\, or have had in the last 14 days\nyou live with someone who is waiting for a coronavirus test result or who has tested positive in the last 14 days\nTrack and Trace has informed you that you have been in contact with a person who has coronavirus.\n\nThank you for your co-operation! \nRefreshments: \nIt is a good idea to bring with you a re-useable bottle pre-filled with water or a flask with a hot drink as we are sorry we will not be able to provide drinks here.
