SUMMARY:Waste and Recycling Coffee Morning
DESCRIPTION:Come and join the PECT team for an informal discussion about waste and recycling over a cup of coffee! \nWe would like to know your thoughts on waste and recycling in the local area and highlight ways you can get involved with related projects we are currently working on. \nWe offer a free training workshop based on waste and recycling. We are delivering free training courses to Peterborough and Cambridgeshire residents. The workshop is a great way to find out more about what a sustainable future looks like. We will give you the opportunity to sign up via our Eventbrite page at the coffee morning. \nWe are also offering a chance to get involved in keeping Fletton clean and tidy. We have a short survey about recycling and waste habits for Fletton residents to complete either on the day or in your own time\, if interested. \nWe will provide a short introduction to the coffee morning and then open the floor for discussion in small groups using discussion prompts. We would love to chat to attendees to find out about your individual circumstances and any concerns you may have about waste and recycling in your local area. 😊 \nWe will aim to provide hot drinks upon arrival\, and then begin the introduction and discussions at 10am for 1 hour. Tea and decaf options will also be provided.

SUMMARY:Ufford Community Orchard Planting Event
DESCRIPTION:Our final tree planting event of the season and it’s a spectacular one. We will be planting\, with your help\, 50 fruit trees on the land just opposite the beautiful Ufford Hall. The trees will be planted over three tiers so that their stunning yearly blossom can be viewed from all directions. \nWe will meet outside the main gates of Ufford Hall at 10am and\, following a very carefully laid out planting plan that has nature at it’s very heart\, plant the trees together. We will aim to be finished around 2pm. \nChildren are welcome at this event as long as they are supervised by an adult at all times. \nThe White Heart will be open if volunteers wish to have some refreshment after the session. It does however get busy so we do suggest booking ahead. \nwww.whiteheartufford.co.uk \nPlease dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. \nIf you have any questions regarding the event please email johnclarecountryside@pect.org.uk or call Mike on 07886507208
