SUMMARY:Do More\, Waste Less
DESCRIPTION:Want to learn key skills for a sustainable future? Come along to a free training course to find out about the circular economy and why more and more people are talking about it. \nThe Circular Economy is a term to describe a change in the way we produce and consume materials\, which allows us to reduce waste and our impact on the environment. \nThe circular economy moves away from wasteful single-use plastics and fast fashion. Instead\, it focuses on reuse\, repair and recycling. \nThis is an exciting opportunity for the job market as return\, repair and recycling services will become vital and provide hundreds of new jobs across the country. \nWhether you are looking to enhance your CV or just have an interest in sustainability and want to learn new skills\, this free training course is a great opportunity to do just that. \nJoin us on Wednesday 16th March from 12.00 – 2.00pm at Westraven Community Garden\, Hartwell Way\, Westwood\, Peterborough\, PE3 7LF. \nNeed help getting there? Please don’t hesitate to let us know and we can look into arrangements for you. \nAll you will need is yourself and something to take notes with. There will be a small range of refreshments\, but please feel free to bring your own lunch (and water bottle). \nPlease note\, this will be a pilot run of the Introduction to the Circular Economy module and we will kindly ask for any feedback that you have on this session at the end to help us improve the content and its delivery. We thank you in advance for your help!
