Staff Engagement Workshop for aspiring green champions!

Business
Are you keen to engage with staff on green initiatives? Do you want to achieve change in your workplace for a more sustainable future? Then join us for the Investors in the Environment Staff Engagement Workshop on Tuesday 24 November, 9am-11.30am in Peterborough.

The aim of this free workshop is to help aspiring Environmental Champions increase in confidence, challenge existing beliefs and communicate better to empower and motivate others to do the same. Discover a different way to improve your personal confidence and the way you communicate with staff.

“It is becoming increasingly important for Environmental Champions of the workplace to engage well with staff in order to adopt better behaviours and more efficient and ethical ways of working,” explains iiE’s Commercial Executive Kim Coley. “The greater your understanding of green methods, the more progress you can make long-term for you and your business.”

On the day, hear from Robert Knowles, business development guru and Director at Cubet Ltd, who will be talking about how to challenge your thinking, as well as your staff’s. You will also gain expertise from iiE’s green leaders who are already paving the way in staff engagement excellence. Plus discover some quick wins and handy hints and tips.

iiE is designed to help businesses save money, reduce their impact on the environment, and get promoted for their green credentials. The supporting membership around the accreditation scheme gives businesses the help, promotion and networking they need to make their business greener and to receive recognition for their eco initiatives. Commitment is demonstrated with a recognised stamp of accreditation.

The workshop will run from 9am-11.30am at iiE member Buckles Solicitors, Grant House, 101 Bourges Boulevard, Peterborough PE1 1NG. Please be aware there is no available parking on-site, but there are several nearby public car parks, as well as easy access via public transport.

Spaces for the event are limited, so please call iiE’s David Knight on 01733 882547 or email [email protected] to book your free place.  For further details about the scheme visit www.iie.uk.com.
