PECT is a sustainability charity based in Peterborough, working nationally to help to protect and enhance the environment. PECT has a 25-year history of working to make places more sustainable through projects that support a healthy natural environment, involve people and communities in their area, improve health and wellbeing and promote the responsible use of resources.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation at a time where the charity is achieving success across a wide range of work streams and the demand for environmental initiatives is high. The Board is looking to recruit up to four Trustees to bring new experience and ideas to the Board and for succession planning. The role is not remunerated.
The Board meets six times per year, usually in the early evening in Peterborough. Conference call facilities are available.
We are looking for individuals with skills and experience in one or more of the following areas:
• Commercial & business development
We are also looking to expand our membership scheme. Members meet twice yearly and have the opportunity to input to the strategic direction of the charity as well as offering hands-on support.
