The charity aims to help you save money and energy at no cost to you! You will be provided with up-to-date information on energy tariffs and providers to help you decide whether it’s more cost effective to switch. You will also receive a FREE energy gift pack after you visit. The project can also inform you of available government grants of up to £140 per year that you may be eligible for.
But it’s not always the most obvious improvements that have the greatest impact. Discover tips on how you can easily change the way you consume energy to further increase your savings.
Alice Lister, the Energy Matters Project Officer says: “Energy Matters is a project designed to lower the on-going costs of energy consumption for residents located in the Central ward of Peterborough. As well as parts of the Park, East and North wards. It is an ideal opportunity for anyone within these areas to make use of an advice service that is literally on their doorstep, whilst not forgetting it’s completely free!”
The project has already assisted over 520 residents to lower their carbon footprints and energy bills – and you could be the next! All the more, you don’t even have to leave your house because the project officer will come to you.
If you are a resident in the Peterborough project areas, whether or not you own your own home, this service is for you. Just get in touch to arrange a free home visit. Call Alice Lister on 01733 882540 or email [email protected]. For further details, visit www.pect.org.uk/EnergyMatters.
