Investors in the Environment (iiE)

Run by PECT, the iiE scheme is designed to help organisations with their sustainability journeys through our innovative environmental management framework as an alternative to ISO 14001. We offer a cost-effective, fully supported, and rewarding experience to help your organisation make progress on reducing waste and other environmental harm, cutting carbon, and getting your teams involved with social projects.

We have worked with hundreds of UK-based organisations to help them start from anywhere and make improvements through sound environmental management principles and commitment to annual accreditation. ESG & Net Zero consultancy

We offer outstanding services and expert advice to support organisations on their sustainability journeys. Our primary vehicle for support with ESG is the iiE programme, and we complement this programme with Enterprise-level packages to help your organisation make deeper more ambitious targets. COURSES & Training

We are a certified IEMA training centre and offer a range of courses that will help upskill and reskill your teams with the knowledge and solutions to progress your journeys. Energy and carbon reporting and management

We offer a range of solutions to help organisations with their environmental compliance, not only helping you to meet the required standards, but go beyond.


The Energy Savings Opportunities Scheme (ESOS) is a compulsory energy assessment and energy savings identification scheme for large organisations (and their corporate groups) in the UK.

Phase 3 of the ESOS scheme applies to you if as of 31 December 2022 you:

  • employed 250 or more people
  • had an annual turnover in excess of £44 million, and an annual balance sheet total in excess of £38 million

You must take part in ESOS if your undertaking is part of a corporate group which includes another UK undertaking or UK establishment which meets these criteria.

The deadline for ESOS phase 3 is December 2023. Get in touch for our support in meeting your ESOS obligations.


The Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) requirements apply to all organisations that meet two or more of the following requirements must comply.

  • Turnover £36 million or more
  • Balance sheet total £18 million or more
  • 250 employees or more

Energy audits

Green Energy Switch

Green Energy Switch are a subsidiary of PECT. Set up in 2006, Green Energy Switch provide a number of Energy Services. Their Void Management service provides help to over 90 Housing Associations and Councils across the UK ensuring they have power on in their void properties, enabling a quick re let process!

Green Energy Switch also provide Home Energy Visits in Peterborough, South Cambridgeshire, Fenland and Rutland. Providing energy advice and also installation of free energy saving measures, such as LED lightbulbs.

The home visits do not stop there though, Green Energy Switch also provide EPC’s for the general public and businesses, ensuring energy and carbon savings can be easily understood and implemented.

Lastly Green Energy Switch also provide general Green Switching for domestic and commercial customers, as well as E.V charging installations and other green commercial services!
