PECT launches sustainability advice service for those looking to live a greener lifestyle.

PECT is excited to announce the launch of their one-to-one sustainability advice service for anyone who would like support in living a more eco-conscious life. Participants can also be entered into a prize draw to win prizes ranging from local gift cards to an air fryer.

The advice service comes after the success of PECT’s series of ‘rethink talks’, which demonstrated how everyone can make small changes at home leading to a big impact on the planet. The talks shared sustainability tips for busy households and are now hosted on the PECT for anyone that missed it.

The bespoke sustainability advice service will run from now until October 2022. Individuals can choose between either a video or phone call with an expert from PECT. Examples of advice could be around eating more sustainably; how to have a more sustainable family life; how to shop more sustainably and how to save energy at home.

“After delivering our rethink webinar series with leading experts and local influencers from PECT, Refill Revolution, and Travel Link – we found there was a need for more tailored sustainability advice,” explains Project Coordinator Nikki Dekker, “We believe everyone can do something small to help the environment, however, we understand people have busy lives and different needs. That’s why we want to help people with a more personal approach.”

This project is funded by the RSA Climate Change and Risk Education grants programme.
