PECT launches development of new iiE Online Portal and invites suppliers to tender for delivery

PECT Update

PECT is pleased to announce the launch of a new development project to modernise the digital infrastructure behind Investors in the Environment (iiE), our flagship environmental accreditation scheme. The new iiE Online Portal will replace legacy systems with a streamlined, platform designed to help organisations measure, manage, and improve their environmental performance with confidence.

For more than a decade, iiE has supported organisations across all sectors to take credible, practical steps towards sustainability. As iiE membership continues to grow, PECT is investing in a future‑ready solution that strengthens the scheme’s consistency, transparency, and impact.

A modern, scalable system for environmental management

The new iiE Portal will offer members a single, secure online system to:

  • Capture and analyse resource and carbon data
  • Set meaningful sustainability objectives
  • Track progress year on year
  • Upload audit evidence with ease
  • Receive clear, consistent accreditation outcomes

This development ensures iiE continues to provide a practical, structured framework for environmental improvement, simple enough for beginners, robust enough for experienced sustainability teams.

PECT invites suppliers to tender

PECT is now inviting suitably experienced suppliers to tender for the design and development of the new iiE Online Portal.

We are seeking partners with a proven track record in:

  • developing rules‑driven, auditable SaaS platforms
  • managing complex data structures and traceability
