Discover IKEA’s secrets for staff engagement

PECT Update
Green-thinking businesses are being invited to attend iiE Consultancy’s next Environmental Management Network (EMN) event: the IKEA Staff Engagement Workshop on Wednesday 18 March, from 8.30am.

IKEA has an impressive sustainability track record; zero waste to landfill and cost positive on waste to name a couple of their achievements. As experts in staff engagement, IKEA will be sharing their secrets through a talk and tour of their site, where you will be able to see how they make environmental awareness and improvement part of every day life for their employees.

You’ll also hear from Queensgate Shopping Centre and find out how they have gone about engaging tenants to cut their resource consumption, and you will also have the opportunity to take place in a workshop drawing out best practice from all our EMN members in order to create a framework for the best practice engagement of staff.

The workshop will be held at IKEA Distribution Services Ltd, Kingston Park, Peterborough PE2 9ET. It will take place from 8.30am-1pm. Breakfast, buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided. This event will be free to EMN members and £50 for non-members.

There are limited spaces for the tour so please book early to avoid disappointment. Spaces will also be limited to one per business. Confirm your space now my e-mailing [email protected] or calling 01733 882549. For more information visit the website on www.iie.uk.com/consultancy.
