Last chance to book a free Healthy Homes energy visit!

Energy
Fuel bills rising? Now’s your last chance to book a free home visit with an independent advisor to help lower your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint. This free service is available through the Healthy Homes project, which is run by the charity Peterborough Environment City Trust (PECT).

This community-based project, funded by the British Gas Energy Trust, aims to help local residents save money and improve the energy efficiency of their homes. Discover how to make improvements to your house that will save you money and ensure that your home is heated sufficiently throughout the winter months.

So far the project has carried out over 300 home visits, 17 fuel debt relief payments, distributed 10 employability skills vouchers, made 200 Warm Home Discount referrals, distributed 300 free energy packs and provided 450 hours of advice!

The project has also helped local households save a total of £28,430 per annum through changing energy tariff. So if you’re based in Peterborough or Fenland and find yourself struggling to pay for adequate heating please give PECT a call! Everyone is eligible and there is no means tested criteria.

Take this opportunity to get involved and book your free home visit today! Home visits are available up until 9th December 2016. Call 01733 866440 or email [email protected]. For more information about the project, please visit www.pect.org.uk/HealthyHomes.
