Learn a new skill – try Willow Weaving!

Do you fancy learning a new skill? Want to create a new handmade feature for your garden? Then don’t miss the chance to book tickets to a Willow Weaving workshop with tutor Sue Kirk, held at The Green Backyard on Friday 24th June 2016, 10am-1pm and 1.30pm-4.30pm.

Organised by the charity Peterborough Environment City Trust, this fun session is suitable for complete beginners, and offers the opportunity to learn to make your choice of a willow plant support, lantern or dragonfly sculpture for your garden.

All tools and materials are provided. There are places for up to 12 students on each session. The workshop area is under cover but please wear suitable clothes for outdoor working. Thank you to the support of the D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust.

The workshop will be held at The Green Backyard, Oundle Road, Peterborough PE2 8AT. The site is easily accessible via public transport or by bicycle. Workshop tickets are £5 each. To book, click here.
