Love Trees with Forest for Peterborough

Nature
Valentine’s Day has only just passed, so why not show your love and appreciation of trees by heading to a Forest for Peterborough planting day on Saturday 20th February? This will be a free drop-in event, held between 11.30am-4pm at Grange Farm, Wittering (PE8 6NR).

Plant a tree with your loved one! Then enjoy a warming cup of hot chocolate. Launched by the independent charity Peterborough Environment City Trust in 2010, Forest for Peterborough is an exciting project to plant over 180,000 trees in and around the city and surrounding countryside by 2030. The aim is to plant one tree for every person living in the city.

Please bring your own lunch. Register your attendance on 07715 372432 or via email at [email protected]. Forest for Peterborough is grateful for the support of the Mick George Community Fund. For more information about the project and how you can get involved, please visit the website at www.pect.org.uk/Forest.
