Event Overview
Nene Wetlands Visitor Centre Saturday 18th May 2019 6.15am – 10am
Arrive at Rushden Lakes for 6.15am, and before you leave for your canoe trip you will be taken on a Dawn Chorus walk around the nature reserve with Wildlife Trust experts.
They will help you identify birds along the way through their early morning calls.
Then, set off on your magical early morning paddle across the lake to the river, ending back at The Boathouse around 10.00am.
These events are run by Canoe2, who will be donating 50% of ticket sales from these events to The Wildlife Trust BCN.
Please note that, as per all Canoe2 canoe hire trips, you will receive a full Safety Briefing and Paddle Demonstration before setting off in your canoe, so you will be well prepared.
Canoe Trips are not escorted on the river.
