Discovering the Geology of the Fen Edge and Great Fen

A guided tour of fenland geology starting at the Fen View Heritage Centre and taking in the Holme Fen Posts and Trundle Mere.
Chris Donnelly of the Cambridgeshire Geological Society will be leading this event providing an insight into the geological history of the Fens and Fen Edge around Peterborough, including events such as the draining of the fens and restoration of wetland habitats as part of the Great Fen project.
