Event Overview

Please check with the event organiser that this event is going ahead prior to setting off!

Free event, limited availability.

Mary Clear MBE, chairperson of Incredible Edible Todmorden and co founder of an idea that has rooted across the world, will describe how a group of volunteers used food and growing as a lever to make a kinder world, achieving more than ever thought possible and having oodles of fun in the process.

The event is free to attend, doors & bar open at 7pm but please reserve your seat in advance. It is one of a series called the OWL talks – part of the Oundle Waste Less project organised by Transition Oundle – which aim to promote discussions about current thinking around the shift towards lower carbon and more ‘eco’ lifestyles. Topics covered include decluttering, sustainable fashion, carbon offsetting, Closing The Loop (the circular economy) with more events in the pipeline.

Supported by Nene Living, Village Connect and Transition Oundle. Funded by National Lottery Fund and East Northamptonshire Resource Management Fund.
