Event Overview
Lunchtime Jazz: Latino Sound 13th November 2018 (1pm – 1.45pm)
For our final lunchtime concert of the year we welcome Latino Sound, which has been playing all things Latin since 2008, for their first appearance in St John’s.
Their music ranges from Bossa Nova to Carlos Santana, an exciting mix of Latin-style jazz, fusion, funk and party music.
As usual the café will be open from noon, serving a range of hot drinks and home-made quiche, cakes, scones etc. All profits from the café will go to The Green Backyard.
For this concert we’d like the audience to stay (or at least start!) seated in the café area rather than moving to the pews at the front of the church.
The concert will begin promptly at 1pm.
Admission is free, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation (suggested amount is £5).
