Event Overview
Lunchtime Jazz: Sara Hawkes and Peter Ravenhill (vocals and guitar): Tuesday 13th November 2018 (1pm -1.45pm)
Last year Sara Hawkes performed at our first ever Tuesdays Till Two lunchtime jazz session (with Ivan Garford on piano).
This year she returns with guitarist Peter Ravenhill, who’s making his Tuesdays Till Two debut after performing at our “Not Quite the Royal Wedding” extravaganza with Sara in May.
Sara will be performing well known jazz and blues standards, but also some pop plus one of her own compositions.
As usual the café will be open from noon, serving a range of hot drinks and home-made quiche, cakes, scones etc.
All profits from the café will go to The Green Backyard.
For this concert we’d like the audience to stay seated in the café area rather than moving to the pews at the front of the church.
The music will begin promptly at 1pm.
Admission is FREE, but those who are able to afford it are asked to make a donation (suggested amount is £5).
