Event Overview

We’re excited to be hosting our next reading group as part of the Growing Together in Peterborough: Exploring and Celebrating Food Systems programme. For this book group we will be exploring ‘The Politics of Permaculture’ by Terry Leahy.

We’ll be using the book as a launch pad to learn about what permaculture is as a social movement, how it could be put into practice, and how to create new communities that work with nature. There’s no requirement to have read the book, the book is a starting point to kickstart conversations, with freedom to see where they go.

Lines and passages will be read out, offering a chance for people to challenge and delve into topics. The reading group is free to attend and open to all. This is a chance to make new friends, gain new perspectives and step outside your comfort zone.
