Event Overview

An illustrated presentation explaining the many projects that are currently underway to enhance the wildlife value of land managed by the Nene Park Trust.

The Nene Park Trust estate includes land along the Nene valley from Thorpe Meadows to Sutton, much of which is already of high wildlife value.

Their land is also the most important recreational resource for the people of Peterborough.

Andrew MacDermott and Chris Park of the Nene Park Trust will talk about projects currently underway to benefit wildlife in the Nene Park, including flood plain restoration and creation of new areas of herb-rich grassland, as well as the Trust’s long-term vision for the site, which must balance the needs of people and wildlife.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided.

Cost: £3
