Peterborough Positive brings Centre Court action to St John’s Square
A big screen live stream of the Wimbledon Finals is coming to the city centre thanks to Peterborough’s Business Improvement District (BID)
This will be a big screen event to celebrate the Wimbledon Finals on 15th and 16th July, from 12.30pm.
The free-to-attend, family-friendly weekend event will take place in St John’s Square, where people can see big screen action of the women’s singles final on the Saturday, followed by the men’s clash on the Sunday.
Tennis fans are encouraged to bring a picnic and local businesses will be selling refreshments from a selection of pop-up food and drink stalls. Strawberries and cream, ‘Wimbledon’ milkshakes, pizza slices and a selection of summer drinks will be
available to purchase during the matches.
