Event Overview
Soham’s 48th Pumpkin Fair!
The theme for this year is ‘Jubilee Trees’ to link in with the Queens Green Canopy in her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee Year. There will be lots of competitions and activities based on our theme – in this period of climate change, perhaps we should all take the time to recognise how important trees are to us all.
Our one beneficiary for 2022 is Building Brass Roots, an important initiative providing musical instrument tuition to children with a link to the development of a youth training band with Soham Comrades Band.
A first for this year is a collaboration with Soham Community Fire & Rescue Service and so Soham Fire Station Open Day will be held within the Pumpkin Fair.
PECT’s Warm Homes Team will be attending to provide free energy saving advice and free energy saving goodies.
