Event Overview

Discover the beautiful landscapes and wildlife of The South Downs, England’s newest National Park.

The South Downs is England’s newest National Park, 1600km2 in extent.

It includes a wealth of different habitats, including chalk grassland, ancient woodland, heath and the iconic, gin-clear, chalk streams.

Containing a number of nature reserves, it is home to numerous species, including Nightjar, Nightingale, Smooth Snake, Water Vole, Brown Trout and Brook Lamprey.

Geof Lee will be our guide to this beautiful, fascinating and wildlife-rich landscape.
