Event Overview
For one night only, Sunday 11 May, 2025, TRASHedy – international, award-winning theatre about the environment and climate crisis – is coming to Peterborough’s Key Theatre.
A mountain of plastic takes centre stage in this electrifying mix of theatre, dance, and multimedia. How many plastic cups will you use in a lifetime? How much waste will you leave behind? And what does it say about us as a species?
In TRASHedy, two performers dive headfirst into the absurdity of our consumer-driven world, unearthing the tangled roots of so-called ‘ecological intelligence’.
As they dig through the chaos, their questions – and the towering pile of trash – only grow.
In addition to this refreshing, inspiring comedy, the Key Theatre is hosting two additional events for climate-curious audiences to engage with.
