Event Overview

Why not come along and join us at our Tree planting drop-in day.

This is a drop-in event, so there is no need to pre-book. Just “drop-in” for a fun day out for your friends and family and to make a difference for the local environment.

The planting will take place in an established green space site, that has been set aside for the purposes of nature conservation and for the benefit of wildlife.

This event is suitable for children and families. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for outdoor work. All equipment will be provided.

Important Information

Specialist Information

The planting will include a mix of native trees and shrubs, with an additional day of wildflower seed stock distribution to be scheduled in the new year. The planting will consist of approximately 200 small root-ball trees (called whips).

The aim of the planting is to increase natural value by increasing the range of species currently inhabiting the site.
