Wildlife Watch – West Kesteven

Wildlife Watch is great for kids from around 6 to 14 years who want to find out more about wildlife and the natural environment.

This month, join our West Kesteven group for a fungus foray in Twyford Woods near Colsterworth (SK 947 239).

Twyford Woods is by an old RAF airfield, however this has a large number of mushrooms and toadstools.

Come help us count them! Last year there was a large drop in the number of mushrooms recorded (only 26) however we did find five new species in the wood.
